Ibrahimovic: “Time to change history”
Zlatan Ibrahimovic spoke on Inter Channel after Tuesday’s victory over Panathinaikos in Matchday 1 of the 2008/09 Champions League.
“My knee is improving all the time,” said the Swedish forward, who set up both of Inter’s goals in Athens. “I have played five matches in the last two weeks. I’m feeling better and better and I can express all my qualities if I’m in this kind of form.
“The goal I missed early on? I wanted to do a chip shot but I was unsuccessful. I’m very pleased with my performance and the team’s game. I didn’t score but I enjoyed it.
“Inter hadn’t won their opening match in the last two editions of the Champions League. Tonight’s win could be a good sign. It’s time to change history.”
